I have a love affair with Red Wing boots. Until recently purchasing a pair of Wolverine 1000 mile boots I hadn’t been able to pull myself away from the wonderful Minnesota company. My first pair of Red Wing boots were the Wabasha. These babies named after the river, are a moccasin style boot with rich supple leather and waxed tough canvas. These, even though comfortable right out of the box, have only aged and gotten better with each wear. I love throwing them on with a pair of jeans and a tweed blazer. The Vibram sole has been great for those winter days so far and the rawhide laces are nice and sturdy.
I couldn’t recommend Red Wing more. You can pick the Wabashas up at numerous stores including Nordstrom and JCrew for about $240-260. Due yourself a favor and treat your feet right!
