Step To This

Men's Life and Fashion

Due to my ever worsening eye sight, I was in need of an updated prescription and new glasses. I haven’t had an eye exam since my freshmen year of college (I’m 25 now…yeah I know, old right) and I figured it was a good time to update the glasses as well. I’ve never been a contact person and glasses can be ridiculously expensive, I mean who wants to spend $350 bucks on a pair of Ray Bans or something?

About 4 or 5 months ago a buddy of mine told me about a company called Warby Parker. I did a quick Google search, which is always the answer, and I found an amazing company. Warby Parker could be described as the Netflix of glasses. You can pick up to five frames for a home try on that will cost you zilch. They mail the glasses to you and you have five days to have everyone and their mothers check them out and let you know what they think before you ship them back with a prepaid return slip. Best of all, once you’ve made your decision, glasses with prescription and anti-reflective coating come in at an amazing $95. Even better, they give a pair away to some one in need of eyewear that normally wouldn’t be able to afford it.

My pair are the Preston in Whisky Tortoise. I can’t recommend them highly enough. I will most definitely be purchasing a second pair in the near future.
