Step To This

Men's Life and Fashion

My newest pair of boots came from a new company to me. I have been a Red Wing fan for some time now, besides a few pair of Clark’s Desert Boots I haven’t strayed from them. I was in a a great store here in Columbus called Brigade over the weekend. They always have a wonderful selection of shoes and these immediately caught my eye.

The Wolverine 1000 mile boots are class built to last. The boot, which has been crafted for over 125 years, is made by hand in Michigan. The boots are made with Chromexcel leather from the famous Horween Leather Company, a stacked leather outsole, and a welt construction.

After initially feeling as if I were cheating on Red Wing, which has been very good to me so far, I realized two great companies are better than one. If taken good care of my Red Wing’s and Wolverine’s may outlast me. (The Wolverine 1000 miles are available for $320-$350)
