With the winter in full effect here in the great Midwest, boot season has been here for some time. In the next few days I’ll show a handful of boots from my closet that I highly recommend and would look great with a lot of wardrobes. I’m a definitely a shoe freak and find it quite tough to resist buying a well made pair of shoes.
I recently purchased the Red Wing Heritage 4563, exclusively in select Nordstrom stores throughout the country. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a pair here in Columbus, OH. The 8-inch round toe boots features a special leather called Beige-Hillbilly from Red Wing’s SB Tannery in Red Wing, Minn. The boots out of the box are so comfortable and amazing looking. The leather is a waxed, nu buck with a distressed appearance. The leather was not finished with any pigments meaning these babies will age beautifully, allowing all the wrinkles, scars, and nicks to show.
I would definitely recommend Red Wing, made right here in the US. You can’t really go wrong. You can find these at select Nordstrom’s for $300.
